6 Things That Can Help Bloggers Be At Their Best

6 Things That Can Help Bloggers Be At Their Best

Do you know that bloggers can be at their best without stressing themselves out or putting their health at risk?

Yes, it is true!

Today, I am going to share some simple methods of how bloggers can go about being their best (The best part, is that the methods are easy ones β€” the kinds that anyone can do).

1.) Choose A Realistic Blogging Schedule

The truth is that blogging is not going to be hectic for you if you choose a blogging schedule that is right for you.

By the way, my article, Have You Found Your Publishing Sweet Spot? will help you out with that.

Never forget for one moment that you are a human being and not the Energizer Bunny.

2.) Make It A Priority Of Yours To Get Enough Sleep

Dear friend, if you intend on doing your best in the area of blogging, you will need to make it a priority of yours to get enough sleep.

Almost everyone on the planet is aware of the importance of getting enough sleep.

To find out more about the importance of getting enough sleep, I recommend reading, Why Sleep Is Essential For Health by Jenna Fletcher (This highly informative article was medically reviewed by Thomas Johnson, PA-C).

3.) Make It A Priority Of Yours To Eat In A Healthy Manner

In order for you to put out your best work in the area of blogging, you will have to fuel your body with healthy food (In other words, you will have to eat well).

To gain a better understanding of why it is important for you to eat healthily, you should have a look at What Are The Benefits Of Eating Healthy? by Cathleen Crichton-Stuart (This particular article was medically reviewed by Katharine Marengo, LDN, R.D.).

Dear friend, for the sake of your health, I hope that you have been eating in a healthy manner.

4.) Get Up From Off Of Your Chair And Walk

Unfortunately, too many of us remain seated in front of our computers for lengthy periods.

Keith Diaz, an Associate Professor of Behavioral Medicine at Columbia University, recommends that we take a 5-minute light walk every half-hour; to acquire further details on this, you should read his article, There’s a Simple Way to Offset The Health Risk of Sitting All Day.

Dear friend, this in itself, is proof that we bloggers need to be physically active.

5.) Be Versatile

Yes, my friend, being versatile will come in very handy. For example, learning how to blog on your smartphone via the Jetpack Mobile App.

Why should anyone who blogs on WordPress do that sort of thing?

Because the day that your desktop computer or your laptop computer is down or is misbehaving due to some type of technological issue, you can pick up the slack on your smartphone.

Despite my laptop computer being my favourite electronic device to blog on, I can blog on my smartphone or tablet the day that my laptop computer decides to kick the proverbial bucket.

For the record, if that were to ever happen to me, I would find myself at the closest store that sells laptop computers after I have completed my blog post via the Jetpack Mobile App on my smartphone.

By the way, if you are one of those people who would like to learn more about the Jetpack Mobile App, I recommend that you thoroughly read, Say Hello to the New Jetpack Mobile App.

6.) Schedule Your Blog Posts

I have been scheduling my blog posts for many years; it is one of those habits that I adopted when I was on Blogger (Which is also known as Blogspot or Google Blogger).

Scheduling your blog posts would grant you the freedom to do other things β€” things that are not necessarily blogging-related.

To learn more about the benefits of scheduling your blog posts, I highly recommended that you peruse my article, Scheduling Blog Posts Are A Lifesaver.

Final Thoughts

To recap, bloggers can be at their best by doing the following things:

  • Choosing a realistic blogging schedule.
  • Making it a priority of theirs to get enough sleep.
  • Making it a priority of theirs to eat in a healthy manner.
  • Getting up from off of their chair and walking.
  • Being versatile.
  • Scheduling their blog posts.

  1. I agree that these are good practical tips! ☺️ For me, blogging once a week is do-able, then I will decide to slowly increase it. πŸ™‚ I definitely need to work on getting enough sleep. πŸ˜… My sleeping schedule has been a mess lately. Thanks for the reminders; hope you’ve been taking care of yourself, too! ^^

  2. Splendid blog post Renard. Indeed these six things make you to the best as a Blogger.

My favorite method for being the best in blogging it is to schedule my blog posts which gives me sufficient time to focus on other things not related to blogging such as doing chores and cleaning the house or washing my dirty clothes. Also, I love the advice for making it a priority to eating healthy πŸ‡πŸ’πŸπŸ as a Blogger is very vital since such foods are filled with vitamins that boost the immune system plus it refreshes the mind as you tackle blog posts. Lastly, walking is key to evade being lazy and one last thing I enjoy scheduling my blogs and I love it because it makes me to be in control instead of panicking. This week look out for the following blog posts that I have scheduled which will be published on the days I scheduled: “HOW TO ESCHEW DRESSING DULL TO EMBRACE DRESSING DAPPER”? & ” DOPAMINE DRESSING IS FOR MEN TOO” πŸ˜ŠπŸ’―πŸ‘

  3. All great points there Renard.

Personally, creating a blogging schedule that fits your current lifestyle rises to the top.

You can be doing all those other things, but if you’ve developed a blogging schedule that is unrealistic and in conflict with your lifestyle(we’re all busy and have lives outside of writing and blogging), then it will be without a doubt a tough go of things for you. There needs to be a work/life/blog balance that works for people. The challenge is that it will be different for everyone.

The key however, is to find the balance that works for you.

  4. Excellent tips, Renard. Getting up off my chair is my biggest challenge as I keep finding more things to read and write. I am decluttering and cleaning out drawers which gets me moving around.
