These 4 Shows Are Entertaining

these-4-shows-are entertaing

At times, I am known to choose movies and television shows randomly.

And, what is the logic behind this interesting behaviour of mine?

I simply wanted to discover if those movies and television shows were worth watching (I will admit that some of my random choices have turned out to be horrible while some of them turned out to be wonderful).

Truthfully speaking, they do not make movies and television shows like they did a few decades ago, but it is possible to discover a priceless gem in a sea of costume jewelry.

So, here is a review of four random shows that I watched recently.

1.) No Time to Die

In spite of being a fan of the James Bond movies, No Time to Die was one of my random picks (I watched it without knowing what to expect).

James Bond was enjoying his self-imposed retirement from MI6 when an old friend of his (Felix Leiter from the CIA) came asking for his help ― the kind of help that involved tracking down the whereabouts of SPECTRE.

I have no intentions of giving away too many spoilers (So, to prevent stealing your sense of joy, you will have to watch it for yourself).

This entertaining spy film was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and it was produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

Here is a list of some of the cast members for No Time to Die:

The movie, No Time to Die, made its debut at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday the 28th of September, 2021.

In the United States of America, No Time to Die debuted in cinemas on Friday the 8th of October, 2021.

The movie’s budget was $301 million.

No Time to Die made the sum of $669 million at the Box Office.

The movie, No Time to Die, is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

  2. I haven’t seen any of these and as much as they all sound good, I probably won’t get round to watching unless its the James Bond one.

    1. 🙂 Liz, all of the shows that I reviewed were released in 2021; they are fairly new (And, that is probably the reason why you have not seen any of them yet).

All of the James Bond shows are filled with excitement. I hope that you get to see the movie “No Time to Die”.

Thank you for being part of the discussion.

  3. El Ministerio del Tiempo is still one of the all around best shows ever produced for TV, imho, but the current Netflix series Lupin, with Omar Sy is also an excellent series!

  4. I enjoyed free guy a lot. Watched it twice with my grandson as he is a big time video game player. I plan to see no time to die when it becomes available. Meanwhile, I watched Shang-chi, legend of ten rings. It’s hilarious.

  5. I’ve not watched Snake Eye (not interested in American dreck) and Foundation neither. Foundation is on my list of have-to watch shows coz of Jared Harris. He lifts even the wurst flick onto watchable level.

Bond: Can it be they retconned Felix Leiter? Didn’t we watch Felix being devoured by a shark in an earlier Bond movie?

    1. 🙂 Thank you for letting me know what your opinions were on the shows, “Snake Eyes” and “Foundation”.

No, Felix Leiter survived the shark attack; here is an excerpt from the New York Post:

The evil Mr. Big feeds Felix Leiter — James Bond’s CIA sidekick — to a shark in his warehouse for exotic fish. The shark takes off Leiter’s leg and arm, but he survives. When Bond finds him, there’s a note pinned to his chest: “He disagreed with something that ate him.”

Thank you for participating in the discussion, Orca.

  6. I watched No Time to Die, but it was abit of a ‘let down’ for me due to the ending….I’m a fan of Daniel Craig and have watched all the other Bond movies with him in it. It would be interesting to see who will play the next 007….the actor as well as how the James Bond character would evolve 😉 (to those who have not watched the show yet….hope I did not give too much away)…

  7. 3 out of 4 this time! I don’t have Apple TV+ so I probably won’t be seeing Foundation any time soon. I already reviewed Free Guy and Snake Eyes, but No Time to Die will be reviewed sometime in December.

  9. I just signed on with Disney+ after abandoning Netflix. I still have Prime though, and Free Guy is on the list. I was pleased to read your review of SnakeEyes: I’d forgotten about it in the volume of releases constantly flying our way, but I’d wanted to check it out. Thanks for providing a short list.
