The faster that you come up with a topic for you blog, is the faster that you can begin writing it.

I will gladly share some ways in which you can come up with topics for your blog and you are going to laugh when you find out how easy it is to do.

1.) Read Other People’s Blog Posts

Now, you are not reading other people’s blog posts for the purpose of stealing their content. You are reading their blog posts for the purpose of forming your own opinion.

Do you understand where I am going with this?

Okay, just in case, you are lost, I will tell you.

We human beings are opinionated by nature; we either agree or disagree with another person’s opinion. For example: if you read a blog post about the best methods of disciplining children and you disagreed with the blogger’s perspective, you can begin composing a blog post pertaining to the same subject matter; but in this case, you will be sharing your unique opinion about it.

Another thing that you can do whenever you are visiting another person’s blog is, to check out the comments thread; it contains potential topics for your blog posts.

Commenters have opinions too.

2.) Be Highly Observant

Something interesting is always happening around us; the problem is, that a large percentage of people do not pay close attention to the things that happen around them.

Here are some things that you can observe:

  • The people around you.
  • The plants around you.
  • The animals around you.
  • The sounds around you.
  • The fragrances around you.
  • The architectural structures around you.

Now, those are just a few examples of the things that you can observe (And, what you observed can be used as a topic for your blog post).

Never pass up a good opportunity to be observant.

  1. I have never used a topic generator. I have used one word prompt so far!
Agree that you need to observe, and listen, form your own opinion and that will all help with writing. People should never just copy. That is bad …
